This policy explains how Skandanam Ecoville Home Stay, 19-12-579, beside More Super Market, opposite to Padmavathi Park, Bairagi patteda, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh 517501, handles personal information in connection with this website and with stays at the property. It is written to India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

This website has no forms

Nothing on skandanam.com asks you to type your name, number or email into it. Every “check availability” and “book” button is a link that opens WhatsApp, your phone dialler or your email app. Until you choose to send that message, we have not received anything about you at all.

What we do receive

• Enquiries you send us. When you message on WhatsApp, call, or email skandanamgroup@gmail.com, we receive whatever you write — usually a name, a phone number, your dates and your group size. WhatsApp messages are held in Meta’s WhatsApp app under their own privacy terms; we simply read them there.
• Booking details from the platforms. If you book through Booking.com, MakeMyTrip or a similar site, that platform passes us the reservation details it needs to give us. Their privacy policy governs how they collected it.
• Details required at check-in. Indian law requires a homestay to record each guest’s identity, so we take ID details on arrival and keep them for as long as the rules require.
• Website analytics. See the next section.

Cookies and analytics

This site loads Google Analytics 4, and it is the only third-party script on it. Analytics sets its own cookies in your browser and tells us how many people reached which page, roughly where in the world from, and on what kind of device. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not run advertising or remarketing tags. If you would rather not be counted, block cookies for this site in your browser or install Google’s opt-out add-on — nothing on the site stops working either way.

What we use it for, and who else sees it

Enquiry details are used to answer you, hold a date and run your stay. Nothing is sold, rented or traded, and we do not send marketing to people who only asked a question. Information reaches others only where it has to: the booking platform you used, our website host and Google Analytics for the site itself, and whichever authority a law obliges us to report to.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept only while the conversation is live. Booking and check-in records are kept for as long as tax and accommodation rules require, and then deleted. Analytics data is retained inside Google Analytics under the retention period set on that account.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act you may ask us what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it erased where no law requires us to keep it, withdraw your consent to be contacted, or nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. Children

Children stay here often, but bookings are made by adults. We do not knowingly collect anything from a child except the check-in details a parent or guardian gives us on their behalf.
